Olivier Faist
Olivier Faist is an Application Scientist for lock-in amplifiers at Zurich Instruments. After getting a master’s degree in quantum optics at the ETH Zürich, he went on to receive his PhD from the University of Basel for his work looking for exotic topological states of matter in semiconductor-supraconductor nanowire hybrids. At Zurich Instruments, Olivier now enjoys solving challenges for clients and learning all about their projects from all corners of research. When not at work, he usually can be found in the viola section of an orchestra or in the outdoors.
