Kent Shirer
Kent Shirer is an Application Scientist for Quantum Technologies at Zurich Instruments. For his doctoral and postdoctoral research, he investigated strongly correlated quantum materials using a variety of techniques ranging from solid-state NMR to high-field transport. At Zurich Instruments, Kent enjoys using his experience in challenging experiments to help researchers find solutions that meet their application needs. Off work, you can find him climbing and bouldering or, on rainy days, reading about fruit bat behavior and aerogel-stabilized superfluid 3He phases.
